Click a button, like us, send a tweet, accept a free offer, ask a question about the rainforest or go shopping at any of nearly 1,000 online merchants. Everything you do on Care to Click raises money to protect the rainforest.
It’s all about advertising. If you’ve never heard of product A, then company B won’t be very successful. And let’s face it - a lot of those products make our lives easier, better, cleaner, healthier, and more fun. Care To Click brings the advertisers’ messages to you. Then, we share the ad revenue with places like the Nature Conservancy who are in the field, actively working to protect the earth’s diminishing rainforests.
The Nature Conservancy and similar organizations are there, doing the work we can’t. They are conducting research, creating programs, writing legislation and working with local people and their governments in order to protect the rainforest. Because of these dedicated teams, we now have a much greater understanding of what rainforests (and their destruction) mean to the earth. Sadly, we also know that deforestation is occurring at the rate of about one football field per minute. But with funding and support, they can (and WILL) continue their struggle to preserve the rainforest, its inhabitants and resources.
